High Yield Investment Program Opportunities...

Without exception, every so-called "high yield investment program" that Rainmaker Marketing Corporation has reviewed over the past 15 years has turned out to be a scam.  Sad, isn't it?  The high yield investment program approach is founded in reality.  This is true, for every great scam contains a kernel of truth to season the new facts and allow "marks" to be fleeced.  Here are some basic facts to keep in mind when considering high yield investment programs:

1. Yes, there are higher-yielding (not high yield) investments out there in the world.  You don't even have to go to the end of the lane, because; commercial real estate development investment syndications are one of the best financial performers (in any economy or business cycle) due to the incremental increases in valuation as the asset is developed, brought on line and eventually optimized for income production.  Yet another are pool loans and investments made to forestall foreclosure for commercial income-producing properties (not home mortgages).  If you are interested in participating in a commercial finance pool, please contact our offices, but participation is limited to accredited investors, institutional investors and Qualified Institutional Buyers only.  Real estate syndication pools would be open to all types of buyers, but are generally limited to those who have at least $100,000.  All real estate syndication sales pools do come with the benefit of a contract buyback at a guaranteed price. 

2. Every one of these scams falls apart when the paperwork is provided.  In most cases, there is some level of payment for the presentation of the paperwork before you can even start "trading".  People that pay the fee are marked for special attention because they have already been scammed and haven't as yet noticed that they have been scammed.  If you have to pay to visit someone or pay to see a contract, chances are you have been scammed.  If you insist on higher-yielding investment opportunities (greed) then you should talk to one of our consultants and at least learn what is going on and what can actually be expected out of the market.  All of this is to say you should learn the difference between reality and the scam because; without context you are placed in the position of being scammed and it won't ever end as you end up chasing scam after scam.

3. The final bit that is hysterically funny is the secrecy bit.  You aren't allowed to talk to principals and they provide no background information that is verifiable.  When you are told anything that approaches the secrecy bit, you are probably talking to a talented scammer.  Move on.  Investment fraud can only occur in a vacuum of a lack of information.  Complete and full disclosure is your right as an investor.  Full disclosure answers all the due diligence questions as to how funds will be handled, who will have access to these funds, who will guarantee their safety, what happens when there are problems, what rights the shareholders have and what expectations are all being based upon.  Always remember, the minute someone says "secret formula", "secret program" or "secret trading" you are being maneuvered to be victimized by an expert scam artist.
