Strategic Business Plans -  Development & Critique Services

Creating great strategic business plans is a core Rainmaker discipline and we want your business.  Most strategic business plans require ten to twelve days for us to complete.  All strategic business plans are subject to the following terms:

  • Payment.  Due upon contract execution.

  • Completion Guarantee.  14 days from date of acceptance, receipt of due diligence documents and receipt of required payment.  If the document is not substantially complete and delivered to the client by the close of business on the 14th day, the payment will be promptly refunded.  Plan will be given to client.

  • Workmanship Guarantee.  Rainmaker cannot guarantee the outcome (obviously) but we can guarantee your satisfaction with the final document.  All documents are professionally-formatted and are presented in color with attending graphics.  If client wishes to see a specimen copy prior to acceptance one will be provided by Rainmaker.

Each plan is developed based upon the supporting due diligence items.  Preparation of the plan requires certain disclosures as the market feasibility and financial feasibility issues pertaining to the client's project or business.

Each plan is a presentation of a series of summaries pertaining to all the risks, risk management programs, business income goals and the disposition of the profits between labor, sponsor and investors.  The key milestone goals in terms of profitability of the entirety of the lifespan of the resulting business, unique requirements of management (e.g.: regulatory compliance), reporting, rights of parties and market opportunity are presented.  The Company's capacity to manage these activities is demonstrated by the inclusion of resume data.

Each plan will have the following 13 topical headings:

  • Cover Page

  • Opportunity Summary

  • Table of Contents

  • Table of Exhibits

  • The Memorandum, Company & Company's Business

  • Company's Key Milestone Financial Condition Precedents, Goals & Requirements

  • Company's Key Milestone Business Development Goals, Condition Precedents & Requirements

  • Company's Plan of Management Reporting & Accountability

  • Company's Core Management Team

  • Company's Capital Finance Plan

  • Company's Market Opportunity

  • Company's Key Business Milestones Schedule

  • Status of Company Operations & Additional Information

Each plan is typically around 30 pages.  In no case has a finished document exceeded 100 pages.  The key goals of this document are:

  • To attract the attention of investment bankers and/or mortgage bankers who will need to have initial evaluation materials to make a judgment as to whether or not they have the syndication depth to sell your pending securities offerings.

  • To attract the attention of local, state and federal agencies that have statutory authority to provide investment incentive entitlements to the business.  These incentives are quite often the key to getting a transaction financed.

  • To attract the attention of third-parties that may in fact be strategic partners providing the goods, services and/or capital assets the company will need to be commercially successful.
